Professor of Medicine at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University.
Served as Head of Department of Medicine for 20 years at Kaplan hospital and at Beilinson Medical center;
Medical Director of Maccabi Healthcare Services;
Chairman of the Drug Formulary committee at Clalit HMO (1995-1998);
Vice Dean for continuing Medical Education at Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University;
Dean of the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University.
Served on numerous national committees, and recently as member of the Israel Authority of Higher Education Reaccreditations Committee for Israeli Medical Schools.
Serves as a member in the board and in the advisory scientific committee of The Society for Patients Rights in Israel.
