A member of the Economics and Society Program team in The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute since 2007. She is a senior lecturer in The School For Social Sciences And Management of The Ruppin Academic Center.
During her work in the public service she directed research departments of The National Insurance Institute (NII) – the Israeli Social Security.
In the years 1996-1999 she was the director of The Institute For Economic and Social Research of the Histadrut, and in the years 2001-2006 she was Deputy Director General for Research and Planning of The NII and a member of the  Institute Executive Board.
Combined social policy making with research in the fields of social security and the labor market and in issues of poverty and income inequality. She was responsible for preparing the Poverty Report and The Annual Survey of The National Insurance Institute. As a member of the NII Board she chaired committees for developing research infrastructure and data banks and for initiating social projects in the community. She also participated, as a member observer, in governmental and public committees and represented Israel in international forums.
